- Be able to communicate confidently both written and verbal in English
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Negotiate or approve rental or lease of various properties in a portfolio on behalf of property owners and ensure that terms of lease agreement are met
- Managing rental agreements, processing payment, and handling move -ins and move-outs of storage units
- Prepare and administer contracts for provision of property services, such as cleaning and maintenance, security services and alarm systems
- Ensuring the cleanliness, maintenance, and security of the storage facility, including monitoring surveillance systems and implementing security protocols
- Coordinate the implementation of repairs, maintenance and renovations carried out on buildings and monitor progress and cost of work for property owners
- Keeping track of available storage units, monitoring inventory levels of parking and moving supplies, and ordering additional supplies as needed
- Compile and maintain records on operating expenses and income, prepare reports and review rents to ensure they are at market value
- Ensure that trouble calls received from clients or tenants are acted upon
- Administer damage deposits
**Qualifications**:
- Secondary school
- Clean criminal record check
- Clean driver abstract
- Property management experience (an asset)
- Completion of training courses or a vocational program in property or strata management or real estate
- Several years of administrative experience as a property clerk, contract clerk, or administrative officer
Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
Additional pay:
- Bonus pay
