Reporting to the Senior Manager - Corporate Development, the Pharmacy Support Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day operations supporting various SRx Pharmacies.**What you will be doing**:
**A)** **PHARMACY SUPPORT**
- Liaise with pharmacy staff, nurse case managers and/or biologic coordinators to support prescription transfer requests to SRx
- Utilizing Health Cloud CRM to input new patient records ensuring tasks are set, followed up & completed accordingly, data/notes are accurate, clear & up to date
- Support on-going projects for the Central Pharmacy Team
- Provide assistance with any other administrative duties and any Central Pharmacy related tasks as required
- Provide ongoing feedback to management personnel regarding day-to-day operations and potential improvements to quality, efficiency, and overall performance

**B)** **REIMBURSEMENT SUPPORT**
- Work closely with patients, insurers, provincial government and HCPs in order to facilitate prescription drug coverage within new and existing reimbursement programs.
- Liaise with the required parties (provincial and private insurers, physicians, nurses, pharmacists, employers’ human resource representatives and internal staff), act as a patient advocate, explore all options for funding of medications and/or services, determine coverage details and develop/maintain complete and accurate documentation required to facilitate a successful outcome of the reimbursement process.
- Navigate through the complex lobbying process through the form of appeals and escalations to obtain prescription drug coverage and reimbursement for required medications

**Your Skills & Qualifications**:

- Minimum 1-2 years experience working in Pharmacy - Specialty Pharmacy preferred
- Experience in Insurance and/or Health Care Industry is an asset
- General knowledge of pharmacy dispensing software (Kroll) is preferred
- Knowledge of provincial and private drug plans, medication access and reimbursement programs
- Minimum 2 years experience in Customer Service
- Excellent multitasking, organizational and time management skills, including attention to detail and ability to set priorities
- Demonstrates strong ability to effectively communicate (verbal/written)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
- Demonstrated capacity to liaise in a constructive and collaborative fashion with a variety of healthcare providers and staff at various organizational levels
- Working knowledge of MS Office Applications - Word, Excel, Outlook
