Cook for Childcare Centre

The cook is responsible for the planning, purchasing, preparing and serving meals in a childcare setting, on a daily basis. The cook will ensure that the kitchen area is maintained in a hygienic, safe and presentable condition that adheres to the Department of Health requirements. There will be some classroom time. The cook must have an understanding of Canada's Food Guide and be flexible with dietary restrictions. The cook will be responsible for working within a budget, shopping and ordering groceries.

Job requirements are:

- Food Handler's certificate
- Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
- Mandatory Immunizations for a childcare setting

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
