As our Communications and Public Relations Manager, you would be responsible for leading the development and implementation of internal and external communication strategies to ensure a unified, consistent and positive messages define and promote our corporate identity and mission.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to promote and positively represent Skyline through internal and external communication.
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures for communicating on behalf of the organization that represents corporate identity, and promotes and supports the organization's mission.
- Overseeing the workflow and work assignments of communications to ensure effective collaboration among team members, and consistent quality work.
- Drafting proposals for special communications projects; presenting and promoting these projects to management.
- Seeking new methods and creative strategies to increase awareness of key events and changes in the organization including the launch of new products, special events, and local and national communication services.
- Leading the development of company press releases for crisis communications, community/charity efforts, and other newsworthy stories.
- Reporting on press activities, coverage, opportunities, successes and press feedback.

- Post secondary education in Marketing, Journalism, Business, Public Relations/Media Relations or other related field.
- 5+ years of experience in public relations or communications.
- 5+ years of social leadership experience for a brand, organization, or agency.
