**Your primary responsibilities will include**:
A Tax Manager assists us in providing clients with tax planning opportunities and researching and resolving complex tax related issues. Our tax group offers an outstanding environment to continue to develop your tax career by providing exciting opportunities while working in a collaborative and supportive group. This role reports directly to the Tax Partner BT KDN and is responsible for:

- Working in a challenging and collaborative environment with like-minded people who are eminent in their respective technical field
- Performing technical research, developing and documenting tax planning recommendations
- Assisting with estate, post-mortem, and succession planning
- Assisting with the execution of corporate reorganization
- Developing your technical skills and knowledge of our clients' business
- Preparing and / or reviewing tax returns and other tax work prepared by staff
- Scheduling and assigning responsibilities to junior tax staff with the intent to mentor, develop and challenge their skill level
- Identifying client service opportunities and providing advisory services to clients
- Canadian accounting designation (CPA, CGA, CA)
- 3+ years of relevant Canadian tax experience in an owner manager client base
- Working on year 2 of the CICA In-Depth Tax program or Masters of Tax
- Excellent analytical skills and creativity to identify problems and potential solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage people and client deliverables
- Experience with MS office, Caseware and tax return and research software
- Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to effectively work with others in teams
- Excellent project management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects with conflicting timelines
- Strong commitment to professional client service excellence
- An unrelenting passion for tax work and advising clients
