Program Co-ordinator/parent Educator

_**Duties**_
- Coordinate and implement agency services; keep accurate up to date records of deliverables, and complete reports for various funding bodies.
- Reports to a Board of Directors.
- Develop and facilitate parent education workshops; 1-1 parent coaching & other activities aimed at promoting healthy development of children and providing practical support to parents with child rearing concerns for children aged 0-12 yrs. Link families with community resources and other support services.
- Requirements:_
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology with focus on child and family development, or related degree, such as education.
- Leadership and supervisory experience.
- Experience working with families and young children; facilitating workshops.
- Knowledge of child development and parenting practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and resides in the lower mainland of BC.
- Criminal Record check required.
