As Content Management Specialist at OCAS, you’ll be part of a team dedicated to ensuring our websites and digital properties stay current, useful, and aligned with the evolving OCAS brand.

Proactive and with a passion for efficiency and detail, you’ll take the lead on monitoring and maintaining existing content while also collecting, triaging, and executing on requests from both internal and external stakeholders.

You have a solid understanding of digital content and design and can support your team members in these areas. With an eye to both the purpose of content and how it appears and is consumed, you’re able to proactively identify and raise opportunities for content improvements and work collaboratively to see enhancements through.

A tech-savvy individual, you have a strong understanding of how content management software works, with experience using a variety of content management systems. (Ideally, you’ll have leveraged Agility, Umbraco, and SharePoint, though experience in WordPress, Drupal, and Adobe Experience Manager would be helpful, too.)

**In this role, you will**:

- Audit and proactively monitor content for timeliness and relevance across all platforms (and execute on findings)
- Create and monitor a content change request intake form for new internal (and potentially external) content change requests
- Maintain, triage, and execute against a backlog of approved content changes
- Maintain content repositories for outage messages and other canned content
- Ensure content is properly vetted before deployment or publication
- Liaise with translator or translation queue owner to ensure bilingual content delivery
- Recommend opportunities for new content / features that benefit audiences
- Develop and maintain process documentation relating to content management activities
- Report on impact and frequency of content change requests

**Additional responsibilities include**:

- Assisting in website and software projects requiring content input and / or maintenance
- Supporting OCAS teams in survey creation and monitoring
- Assisting in content creation and communications support
- Participating in the ideation and delivery of marketing projects, campaigns, and collateral, representing the voice of both the product and the customer

**You should have**:

- A college or university credential in marketing, communications, or a related field
- Minimum of two years working in a marketing team, digital agency, or similar environment, with demonstrated experience working with a CMS
- Ability to insert, format, and upload content into web CMS and social media platforms
- Ability to manage content assets, including PDFs, videos, downloadable files, etc.
- Ability to set up and manipulate menu and navigation items
- Proficient Photoshop skills for formatting images and optimizing for web
- Grasp of design fundamentals such as colours and typography
- Experience optimizing content for responsive display
- Working Knowledge of HTML and CSS
- FTP experience
- Understanding of AODA compliance and other accessibility criteria
- Knowledge of SEO fundamentals
- Solid understanding of Google Analytics and how to analyze key metrics
- English-French bilingualism is an asset
