**About You**

PMC is looking for a full time experienced drafting technician to join our team. Working with our engineering and production teams, the successful applicant’s main responsibility will be making system connection and equipment layout drawings as well as manage the project bills of materials.
Duties include:
- Electrical systems drafting for vessel propulsion control, instrumentation, and machinery alarm systems
- Equipment and connection plate layout drawings
- Bill of materials creation and upkeep
- Mechanical parts drafting to support our design and manufacturing capabilities
- Pneumatic / hydraulic systems drafting to maintain existing vessel systems drawings
- Technical document control and adherence to quality control system
- Possible advancement to systems design responsibility
- Possible advancement to Project Leader responsibility
**Requirements**:
- Fluent in verbal and written English
- Proficient with AutoCAD 2023 and Microsoft Office 2013 and Office 365 (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
- Computer and computer file management skills required
- 5 years in the technical drawing field with controls / automation experience is required
- Electrical knowledge - ability to read circuit drawings is required
- Willing and capable of learning and following PMC’s established drafting standards
- Strong attention to detail and well developed organizational skills
- Ability to adhere to and meet deadlines
- Marine systems knowledge an asset
- Experience with GibbsCam and SolidWorks an asset
- Manual drafting skills an asset
