Autocad Draftsperson

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare clear, concise, and accurate shop drawings and details for precast/prestressed products
- Develop creative and functional design plans, layouts, elevations, and detailed drawings using design software
- Calculate required information for shop drawing bill of materials
- Manage multiple projects from design stage to restaurant opening
- Read and understand contractual obligations and ensure compliance
- Obtain necessary permits and variances for construction projects
- Work with cities and municipalities to process plans and documents
- Solicit construction bids, review for completeness and competitiveness, and negotiate as necessary
- Supervise general contractors and vendors, manage schedules, updates, and budgets
- Assist in the development of Franchise Plans and elevations
- Have commercial construction experience, particularly in restaurant tenant improvements
- Be a self-starter and highly motivated
- Have a long-term career interest in Freshslice Pizza
- Possess strong communication skills
- Demonstrate resilience and tenacity
- Travel frequently to store locations to oversee and manage
- Be proficient in MS Word and Excel

**Requirements**:

- 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial construction labor, including restaurant, retail, and tenant improvements
- AutoCAD certification preferred, outstanding AutoCAD knowledge required
- Professional handyman skills and familiarity with plumbing, drywall, carpentry, and electrical work will be an asset
- Knowledge of construction processes, project planning, budgeting, construction materials/specifications, building codes, zoning laws, contracts, mechanical/electrical systems, surveying kitchen equipment, and restaurant operations
- Experience working with cities and municipalities
- Strong negotiation, communication, and management skills
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, travel extensively, climb around construction sites, and interact with construction-related personnel at all levels
- Must own a vehicle and cell phone
- Must live within 30 minutes of the office or be willing to relocate (this is not a remote job position)

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
