Legal Assistant

We are seeking a full-time legal assistant to join our notary public office in the Burnaby Metrotown area.
**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**:
- Minimum 1 year experience working as a legal assistant in a law office/notary office specializing in real estate transactions.
- Must be familiar with ordering land title documents on myLTSA and strata documents from strata management companies
- Must have knowledge and experience with reviewing and preparing general documents for purchase, sale and mortgage real estate transactions.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Adobe, myLTSA, conveyancing software
- Ability to multi-task and work under time-sensitive environments with mínimal supervision
- Must be able to speak fluent English, ability to speak Cantonese/Mandarin an asset
**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
- Prepare correspondence and documents for real estate sale, purchase and mortgage transactions using conveyance software and myLTSA
- Diarize bring forward matters and follow-up in a timely manner
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay
