**How you might spend your days**:
Our research creates a huge amount of data. We need someone like you to help bridge the gap between complex biological data and life-changing insights. On any given day you might:

- Analyze sequencing data generated as part of our antibody discovery programs
- Develop and extend bioinformatics pipelines for analyzing single-cell and bulk immunoglobulin repertoire sequencing data
- Help integrate our pipelines with other components of AbCellera’s tech stack
- Collaborate with wet-lab scientists, data scientists, and bioinformaticians to design experiments, analyze data, and interpret results in order to improve and develop new technologies for antibody discovery and engineering

**Required qualifications and experience**:

- PhD or MSc in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field, or a BSc with at least three years of relevant work experience
- Demonstrated expertise in Python and building code in a collaborative environment
- Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
- Experience working with high-throughput sequencing data
- Strong analytical skills related to working with unstructured datasets
- A demonstrated ability to find creative and functional solutions to complicated problems
- The ability to express complex ideas in understandable ways, and to communicate effectively with people from different fields
- Excellent documentation skills with impeccable attention to detail

**Bonus qualifications, but not required**:

- A good foundation in statistical analysis
- An understanding of the basics and limitations of experimental protocols
- A background in immunobiology
