**What You Will Do**

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this position provides a range of administrative tasks to the overall Human Resources and Occupational Health & Safety team. Supporting the various functions of the Human Resources discipline, this position handles assisting with the overall administration in onboarding, health and safety, payroll, contract tracking, and overall processing of invoices and expenses for the department.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Processes all HR-related accounting transactions include invoices, expenses, and quarterly financial transactions.
- Maintains all employee-facing documentation within DUC systems. This includes ensuring that all documentation is provided in both French and English.
- Working closely with the HR Business Partners, supports all onboarding administrative activities to ensure all employee onboarding experiences are positive and in alignment with the overall onboarding program.
- Supports the Health & Safety team with tracking and compliance activities. Also ensures training is current for all employees.
- Manage the Long Service Award (LSA) program including ordering of gifts and shipping.
- Support payroll entry during high-volume times to ensure deadlines are still being met.
- Ensures that all Human Resources files are managed and maintained in alignment with document management practices.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience. A minimum of 1 year of payroll experience and/or Human Resources experience is preferred.
- Certificate / Diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience in related fields will be considered in lieu of minimum education requirements.
- Completion or enrollment in Canadian Payroll Program is desirable.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365 including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Experience using OHS Systems is an asset.
- High attention to detail and the ability to keep confidential information secure
- Excellent organization, interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written.

**Position Details**:Full-time, Permanent
**Salary: Starts at **$43,800 annually. Salary is based on a 35-hour work week.
**Location**:Hybrid/Remote within Canada with preference in AB or MB.
