Rentsync provides high quality websites, marketing services, and software solutions to the rental and property management industry throughout Canada. We are looking for a summer student or recent graduate to join us as a researcher whose main objective is to assist the data team with data quality control, and research various residential properties by leveraging various online resources.

This is a fixed-term summer position with a tentative end date of Friday, August 25, 2023.

This role may lead to permanent, full-time opportunities in the future within our organization

**Summary of Responsibilities**:

- Perform quality control review of real estate property databases and complete research when necessary.
- Identify various property types through visual identification
- Maintain a master file of relevant research and records of work completed.
- Participate in weekly to biweekly meetings with the stakeholders and other members of the team

**Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities**:

- Has a positive attitude and is a great listener
- Is enthusiastic about helping people and providing meaningful assistance to customers
- Has excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills
- Works well independently and in a team environment
- Has exceptional attention to detail
- Has advanced technical proficiency in the use of internet technologies
- Is a quick learner and has an exceptional ability to adapt
- Has critical thinking skills which will support research using various online resources.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Eligible applicants must be currently enrolled or have recently graduated (within the last 2 years) as full-time post secondary student in an accredited Canadian institution
- Excellent work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work with repetitive tasks
- Experience with google sheets or excel
- Experienced in project research
- Available to work in-office on a semi-regular basis

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Enrolled or recently graduated (within the last 2 years) in the field(s) of geography, urban planning, or business.
- Experience using QGIS.
