- **Product Owner, Acquisition **understands and contributes to the achievement of the vision, strategy, goals and objectives that grow and operate the Merchant Solutions business.
- TD Merchant Solutions (TDMS) is a unique business within Business Banking at the forefront of many emerging trends in the financial industry, such as e-commerce, payments innovation, and strategic partnerships. TDMS provides reliable, flexible, and easy to use e-commerce and Point of Sale (POS) card payment solutions to small business, commercial, and corporate clients. TDMS is the only Canadian fully bank-owned and operated merchant acquirer, managing all debit and credit card transactions for our merchants from authorization through to clearing and settlement. This end-to-end capability is a competitive advantage for TD, uniquely enabling the bank to meet more of the financial needs of our Business Banking clients.- Within TD Merchant Solutions, we are focused on
- _Our Merchant Quest_ to Double the number of fully franchised Merchant & Business Banking clients at TD.

This team is focused on: Driving and Maintain Profitable Growth, Promoting a Positive Sales Culture and Performance and Maximizing Channel Growth and Sales Enablement

**The Product Owner, Acquisition would support this strategy by**:

- Oversight of the marketing and digital roadmap and initiatives
- Recommend and lead marketing and digital initiatives in support of the Merchant Quest: to double the number of fully franchised Merchant & Business Banking clients at TD
- Collaborate with digital partners to increase TDMS awareness online
- Be a creative and an out of the box thinker to drive merchant solution opportunities to TD
- Own the account management strategy and find ways to connect with the customer to strengthen customer loyalty
- Shopping and Distribution lead for the integration of merchant sales across the Business Banking channels
- Work closely and collaborate with internal and external partners including business bank
- Provide thought leadership on the changing culture to enable successful execution of sales strategies

**Job Requirements**
- Thought leader, able to think outside of the box, and provide recommendations based on facts, data, and sound judgment
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form including presentation skills
- Resourceful self-starter who works well on their own and within team environments
- Excellent problem solving skills, detail-oriented and a proactive approach to managing strategic and tactical deliverables
- Contribute to a fair, positive, and equitable environment that supports a diverse workforce
- Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships across teams and functions
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills with the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple deadlines and priorities, and identify/assess risks and issues
- Previous experience working in Merchant Solutions, Business Banking and/or Payments would be beneficial
