**Role Responsibilities**:
Administrative Assistants are the true foundation that hold up an organization. They need to be quick-thinking, positive, and two steps ahead of those they support. The Information Management Branch is seeking such an individual to support the Health Information Systems Division in reaching its goals, and this opportunity could be perfect for you

As **Branch Administrative Coordinator,** your responsibilities include maintaining calendars, scheduling complex meetings/workshops, preparation of meeting folders, coordination of briefing materials to support decision making, prioritization and delegation of incoming correspondence, responding to routine correspondence, administering staff onboarding and offboarding, and management of a variety of administrative projects. In addition, you may also track financial budget expenditures as directed by the Executive Director.

This position also coordinates the Branch's Action Requests to ensure they are routed to the appropriate person, completed within timelines and edited/formatted according to MCU and ARTS guidelines.

You will be required to have excellent communication skills, and exercise sound judgement and personal initiative in a fast-paced working environment. This position also provides a lead role to other Branch administrative staff through the provision of training on administrative guidelines and providing assistance with the interpretation of policies.

**Qualifications**:
**High School Diploma** and three years of related experience in office administration, office management, or systems support/coordination.

**Equivalency**:
Related experience or education may be considered as an equivalency on a one for one basis.

The following are considered **assets** to the position:

- Extensive computer experience: advanced knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint.
- Senior level of knowledge of administrative procedures, human resource policy and procedures, knowledge of dept., division and branch policies and procedures as well as government procedures including MCU, ARTS and iRIM guidelines.
- Accounting or financial knowledge, as well as knowledge of government financial policies and budget forecasting procedures.

**Hours of Work**
7.25 hours daily/ 36.25 hours weekly, Monday to Friday

This position requires working from the office with an option to qualify for a hybrid work arrangement (in accordance with GOA policy).
