**Description**

Our Client is seeking a Senior Management Consultant to identify and advance information management and technology strategies in support of core business in strategic areas as well as facilitate and manage challenges associated with innovation and change.

**Experience Required/Mandatory Skills**
- Minimum University graduation in Computer Science or Information Systems or a related discipline and 8-yr related experience;
- Extensive experience in the designing Data Management Platform strategy, architecture, roadmaps and Implementation plans. (5+ years)
- Experience preparing and implementing government-wide strategies and/or mandates on data transformation initiatives. (5+ years)
- Experience working on agile software development and modern, service design-based product delivery comparable in size and complexity for a large organization such as state, provincial, or federal government or a private company with 5,000 or more employees or for a startup or small business addressing a complex challenge at scale. (5+ years)
- Experience leading large enterprise-scale data projects or programs. (5+ years)
- Experience leading and providing consultation and support to clients at all levels of an organization. (5+ years)
- Experience in designing enterprise data solutions with location intelligence/Geospatial capabilities (5+ years)
- Experience providing cloud-based data solutions (5+ years)
- Proposed resource must have own computer equipment and be comfortable using it for completion of work required by this contract.
- Resource will work remotely, though must be available for onsite meetings when required.
- Proposed resource must work from within Canada, due to network and data security issues.

**Nice To Have Skills**
- DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or Data related Professional certificate
- TOGAF 9 Professional Certification
- Experience with data marts, data warehousing, BI tools, etc. (3+ years)
- Experience with relational databases and knowledge of SQL (3+ years)
- Experience with data modelling concepts and tools (3+ years)
- Experience with data management tools (e.g. data governance tools, BI, analytics, big data, data visualization, etc.) (3+ years)
- Experience in the development of data management or related types of standards and practices (3+ years)
- Experience developing all of the following: prototype designs, business plans, program plans, strategic plans, tactical plans, operational plans, communication plans and road-maps. (5+ years)
- Experience working in Azure Technologies (2+ years)
- Experience with Information Governance, or records management and information management. (5+ years)
- Experience in the analysis, development, and integration of complex IT systems with a specific focus on the management of multiple data sources, web services, and legacy IT solutions. (5+ years)
- Experience designing enterprise geospatial solution (3+ years)
