**Summary**:
Develops and maintains relationships with all levels/sizes of customers. Sells products and services to existing and new customers in the field. May be entrusted to handle the largest accounts and/or the most complex products. Handles special projects, as assigned.

**Job Duties/Responsibilities**
- Support and grow our existing accounts
- Develop relationships with key decision makers and identify areas for growth in both new & existing accounts
- Promote custom engineered products to existing and new markets within Canada
- Identify and participate in all relevant trades shows and associations
- Capitalize on synergies that effect business across NA
- Identify additional service opportunities to support the Edmonton facility
- Identify areas to increase profitability and reduce costs
- Provide monthly forecasts for Canadian market
- Develops account & market strategies for assigned area of responsibilities
- Captures and records market intelligence and communicates to organization
- Negotiates account pricing and terms & conditions
- Increase market share/capture new business
- Communicates voice of customer to key stakeholders internally to achieve internal objectives
- Knowledge and understanding of customer requirements per specifications
- Adjusts and/or coordinates complaints concerning billing or service rendered, referring complaints of service failures to designated departments for investigation
- Responsible for accurate and timely order maintenance
- Communicate with OPS/Applications on new product ideas and status of on prototypes
- Can work with various levels of management w/in assigned accounts from individual contributors to executive management (C-Suite)
- Undertake travel to meet customers (25 - 40%)
- Works with Engineering on the specifications of the equipment
- Participate in all aspects of the company HSE program
- Adhere and comply with all company processes and policies set forth.

- Comprehensive, specialized technical knowledge of company's products and services, customer requirements and competitive market
- Excellent communication skills. Extroverted personality
- Strong Technical & commercial acumen
- Understanding of manufacturing/supply chain/ & operations in an industrial setting
- Proven negotiating skills.
- “Hunting & Farming” sales techniques

**Education**
- Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent in a business or technical field
- Relevant Job Experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement

**Experience**
- 3-7 years’ experience in Oil & Gas, Gas Compression, and/or Power Generation industry
- Minimum 4 years sales/account management experience

Supplemental pay types:

- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Sales: 4 years (preferred)
- Energy Industry: 3 years (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (preferred)
