**Xtreme Hydrovac Services (XHS) is hiring Hydrovac operators to start immediately. We provide: competitive hourly rates, overtime, company health and dental benefits, with disability and life insurance, a health spending account, a retirements savings plan (RSP), employee assistance program.**

**Job Summary**:
**Salary**:Starting wage at $37/ hour with reeveluation after probation. XHS also guarantees a minimum of 8 hours a day regardless of time worked with overtime after 8 hours.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Operate Tri-drive hydro Vac units in a safe and efficient manner
- Must be physically able to perform tasks and work in all weather
- Completion of daily documentation including but not limited to daily log books, customer work orders, field level risk assessment, pre/post trip inspections
- Follow instructions for tasks assigned by Dispatch or Supervisor
- Complete daily housekeeping of assigned truck to ensure maintenance of company image
- Attend daily tool box and safety meetings as scheduled and adhere to corporate and site safety regulations and procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous hydrovac, trucking, vacuum truck or other related industrial experience preferred.
- Must have a minimum Class 1, 3 or DZ license (A-D license in Ontario) with airbrake endorsement, and an acceptable driving record.
- Experience driving a manual transmission (10-18 speed) preferred.
- Safety certifications preferred (e.g. First Aid/CPR, C.S.T.S, H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Confined Space, OSSA and Ground Disturbance).
- Experience in a labour-intensive position and working outside in all types of weather conditions.
- Capable of working variable shifts with extended hours.
- Ability to work independently in a team and safety focused environment.
- Mechanical inclination is an asset.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Must successfully pass XHS driver’s evaluation, D&A and fit for duty pre-employment screening
