**Job Summary**

**What is the opportunity?**

The RBC Dominion Securities branch located in Waterloo is seeking an Associate Wealth Advisor to join a successful Advisory Team. You will develop and implement the team’s wealth management strategy for clients.

**What will you do?**
- Coordinate meetings and events for the Investment Advisor with clients and prospects: help determine agenda and key topics, prepare documentation, execute post-meeting work. Attend client meetings when required.
- Provide proactive client service with a problem-resolution focus and attention to details. Liaise with various departments for execution, where necessary.
- Respond to client account inquiries and remain accountable to follow-up, as required.
- Help build and execute business plans, client segmentation, and client service plans.
- Identify and execute opportunities among existing client base for asset consolidation, referrals, etc.
- Co-manage client acquisition pipeline (prospects / leads); work with advisory team to close new opportunities.
- Deepen existing relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs) through ongoing management.

**What do you need to succeed?**

**Must Have**
- Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with CIRO
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH)
- University degree
- A self-directed individual with a growth and goals-oriented mindset
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English

**Nice to Have**
- Certified Financial Planner
- Wealth Management Essentials (CSI)
- Successful completion of 90-day training (i.e., holds Registered Representative license with CIRO)
- 4 years or more of professional experience within investment industry and with financial planning
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Highly-developed client service skills
