Professor of marine geology with specialization in sedimentology

The Institut des sciences de la mer (ISMER) of the Université du Québec à Rimouski (UQAR), one of Canada's leading academic marine science research institutes, is seeking a new professor (tenure-track position) of marine geology with a specialization in sedimentology.

**Requirements**:

- **Diploma**: Ph.D.
- **Discipline of diploma**: Sedimentology, marine geology, geology, geological engineering, oceanography, earth sciences, or related discipline
- **Specialization domain**: Marine sedimentology
- **Preferred areas of research**: Sediment dynamics, Quaternary stratigraphy, geochronology, natural hazards, seabed mapping, geophysics, geomorphology
- **Others**: A solid research record; at least one year of postdoctoral experience is expected

**Salary and conditions**
