Industrial Sewing Machine Operator

We manufacture and customize high quality sewn folios for choirs, bands, and orchestras to hold their music. We have been in business for over 30 years and shipped to 40 countries.

Across 3 warehouses at the South end of Ontario Street, our teams make, sew and assemble folders, of paperboard, for the North American and World markets.

You must have a minimum of one year's experience with Industrial Sewing Machines (single or double needle).

**Tasks**:
Operate sewing machines - add edge wrap and combine folder components such as paper board, pocket and spine sections
Perform minor repairs and adjustments to equipment
Cross-train for other tasks in the bindery related to making these folios

**Requirements**:

- Hand-eye co-ordination
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- a functional minimum of English as a working language, even if it is not your mother tongue
- Quality first. You will review, troubleshoot, and repair any quality control issues with the Quality Control Inspector

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.50-$21.25 per hour
