**The Opportunity**:
The Production Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a safe production environment for his/her area and all related employees. The Production Supervisor works closely with his/her team to produce quality products and improve departmental performance. He or she participates in establishing a collaborative environment with other managers and departments.

In a context of continuous improvement, his or her role consists mainly of ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, quality standards, achieving business results, eliminating waste, developing the competence of operators and promoting a strong sense of ownership of operational processes.

**What You Will Bring**:

- Education and Training_

Required:

- DEP or DEC in mechanics or operations management or any combination of equivalent education and experience

Asset:
Gestion d’équipe qualité, de la maintenance et entrepôt
- Experience_

Required:

- 3 to 5 years of experience supervising teams in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of good manufacturing practices (BPM)
- Intermediate knowledge of Ms. Office software
- Experience in production planning and management
- Experience in process management and continuous improvement

Asset:

- Experience working in a regulated environment (pharma, food)
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities_

Required:

- Experience in implementing change
- French and English functional

**What You Will Do**:
Health and Safety
- Ensure the safe use of equipment
- Implement preventive and corrective actions from the HSC or from observations
- Carry out observation rounds and preventive inspections
- Ensure compliance with OHS standards and the wearing of PPE for the entire sector

Quality
- Ensure compliance with quality rules (documentation, procedure follow-up)
- Implement preventive and corrective actions concerning quality management
- Accompany employees in understanding procedures and work instructions
- Maintain up-to-date employee training and develop their knowledge of the equipment

Operations
- Support his team to achieve production objectives
- Participate in the creation of projects to ensure the improvement of operational efficiency (FIT performance)
- Produce reports and analyze performance data of his team
- Lead the implementation of actions to address performance indicator gaps
- Participate in problem solving analysis processes
- Identify improvement opportunities and participate in their implementation
