We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Supervisor for a diverse portfolio with properties in downtown Toronto and Mississauga. The Supervisor will split time between both locations (ideally 3 days downtown and 2 days in Mississauga).

The Supervisor will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of the facility along with a team of operators. Moreover, you will build a strong rapport with the client and ensure the client needs are met.

As one property is a an older Heritage building, we seek a Supervisor with expertise in steam systems. We will also rely on you to help manage the capital projects and budgets and working directly with the construction team, client, and stakeholders on current and future plans.

This full-time position requires on-site presence and participation in the team's on-call rotation.

**WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**:
Ensure efficient and safe operation of all HVAC equipment throughout the Complex.
Follow up with staff on assigned corrective maintenance (i.e., cold calls) also preventative maintenance work orders to ensure they are completed properly.
Assisting in Energy Conservation Programs.
Ensure high quality of service is provided to employees and tenants.
Ensure that the building operations staff carry out water tests and that they are properly recorded, and corrective action is taken if required and that sufficient stock of reagent chemicals and system chemicals is maintained.
Supervise staff engaged in routine manual, semi-skilled or skilled work.
Assist Operations Manager in the selection and maintenance of material inventories and monthly scheduling of Operators shifts.
Provide emergency call-back services after hours and on weekends. Fill in on shifts in case of vacation or illness; also fill in on the on-call schedule.
Manage Projects as assigned.

**WHAT YOU BRING**:
BES I/II or Building Operator Certification (BOC) or Building Systems Maintenance Certificate (SMC) BOMI.
Will be a bonus if have the OPMP (Operations & Performance Management Professional Certificate from ASHRAE)
Experience Steam System. Prove of any steam system training.
Ability to operate Fire Alarm System and Understand the Ontario Fire Code
Ability to read/interpretation construction drawings,
Alert and perceptive and able to resolve problems and emergencies.
Excellent Interpersonal skills with a high level of professionalism and commitment to service excellence.
Excellent people management skills.
8 years’ experience in building repairs/operations.
Experience with state-of-the-art Building Automation Systems (BAS), lighting control systems.
Experience with BBN.
Experience with Water Treatment.
Computer proficiency, particularly in Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint as well as general scheduling software
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
