Scheduling and Payroll Clerk

**Duties and Responsibilities**

**Payroll**
- Process bi-weekly payroll
- Verify accuracy of all entries
- Process new hires, terminations, status changes, pay rate changes and other employment data
- Administer group insurance benefits including enrollments and terminations
- Perform various other administrative tasks as required

**Scheduling**
- Department Scheduling, assigning staff to their scheduled shifts
- Maintaining master schedules for departments.
- Providing coverage for staff vacation and sick time.
- Ensure all file requirements are up to date and received on an ongoing basis. Provide direction/instruction for online trainings.
- Working partner with recruitment.
- After-hours on-call duties on a rotational basis.

**Qualifications**
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- 1+ years of previous payroll experience.
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment and maintain confidentiality of information.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment.
- Excellent time management and problem solving skills along with strong organizational, research, decision-making, interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
- Strong Attention to detail
- High School Diploma
- Post-Secondary in a related field is considered an asset

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
