St. Albert Public Schools is currently recruiting Full Time, Probationary, Floater Caretakers for work assignments at various locations within the division.

More than 9000 students are enrolled in St. Albert Public Schools. From Preschool to Grade 12, our students learn and succeed in programs that are recognized for excellence and their focus on citizenship and sound values. As a precondition of employment, all potential new hires will be required to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 (all recommended doses of a vaccine approved by Health Canada and recommended by Alberta Health Services). Exceptions will only be considered upon proof of a medical condition, or other protected ground under the Alberta Human Rights Act.

Hours of Work: 37.5 hrs./week; 7.5 hrs./day; Monday-Friday; Full Time, Probationary

Hours will be: Hours for this position will be decided upon by the Assistant Manager of Facilities Services.

Hourly Rate: $20.26 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement

Start Date: As soon as possible

Specific Needs/Requirements for this position:
▪ The basic function is to clean designated sections of buildings, undertaking minor maintenance jobs and maintaining good relations with user groups as assigned by Assistant Manager of Facilities Services. This is a probationary union position that includes benefits.
