**Summary**:
Stellar Creative Lab is looking to hire **Production** **Editors **to bring their skills and talents to our Seth Rogen's Animated Project for Amazon Studios.

**What you will be doing as Production Editor**:

- Creating reference clips from storyboard animatic for import into Shotgrid
- Keeping episodes up-to-date with the latest versions from the CG shot departments, from layout through to fully rendered composited shots
- Communicate QC errors and other edit concerns to teams
- Offer creative suggestions when needed
- Making adjustments to the edit as needed based on feedback from directors and client, including audio, and import into Shotgrid
- Validate shots in shotgrid (frame ranges, cross-dissolve info, audio changes, etc.)
- Exporting content as needed for review by client and production
- Responsible for timely execution of deliverables to Client for screening
- Responsible for timely execution of deliverables to the DI for final finishing
- Implement cuts, changes, revisions as needed
- Attend screenings with directors and creative stakeholders throughout the shot production schedule
- After the final screening assist production staff in importing and ensuring quality for the locked animatic for shipping and tracking purposes
- Turnover of edit to sound and composer

**Your Experience, Talents and Abilities**:

- Minimum 3-5 years of professional editing experience, animation or FX experience preferred
- Deep understanding of Avid Media Composer software is a must
- Knowledge of Shotgrid is a must
- DaVinci Resolve and Hiero experience an asset
- Understanding of codecs, file formats, colour spaces and colour pipelines an asset
- Ability to organize and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
- Strong editorial skills both technically and creatively
- A creative problem solver and a proactive thinker
- Exhibit an enthusiastic attitude, willingness to learn and advance in the editorial field
- This is a remote (work from home) position, but if you prefer to work from the studio this is also possible
- Eligible to work in Canada
