We are seeking a **Social Media and Engagement Specialist** to join our team and help grow our online presence. In this role, you will work across platforms to develop engaging content, foster community engagement, and build relationships with our audience, ensuring the Novus brand continues to grow both locally and regionally.
**Position Overview**
The Social Media and Engagement Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing social media strategies across multiple platforms. This role requires expertise in social media strategy, content creation, community management, and data analysis to drive online engagement and brand awareness. You will work closely with the marketing team to align social media initiatives with broader marketing campaigns and objectives.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Social Media Strategy Development**: Create and implement social media strategies that align with the overall Novus brand and dealership-specific marketing initiatives.
- **Content Creation**: Develop engaging, high-quality content (visual and written) tailored to each platform (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
- **Community Engagement**: Build and foster relationships with our online communities by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly, while promoting a positive brand image.
- **Campaign Execution**: Manage social media campaigns from ideation to execution, including paid and organic strategies to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions.
- **Performance Tracking**: Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics (engagement rates, reach, conversions) and report on success, using data to optimize future efforts.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the Creative and Graphic Designer to ensure consistency in visual content and brand messaging.
**Required Skills and Experience**
- **3+ years of experience** in social media management, content creation, and community engagement.
- Proven experience in creating and implementing **data-driven social media strategies** that achieve measurable results.
- Familiarity with **social media management tools** (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, platform-native analytics).
- **Strong copywriting skills** with an understanding of how to craft messages that resonate across different social platforms.
- Experience managing **paid social campaigns** and optimizing for engagement and conversion.
- A **strategic thinker** who can align social media efforts with broader marketing and business objectives.
- Ability to adapt tone and voice to reflect brand identity while engaging with diverse audiences.
- Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva) are a plus.
