York International Academy is an Ontario-based private high school inspected by the Ontario Ministry of Education. We offer the Ontario Secondary School Diploma to our graduating students. As our school grows and expands, we seek someone to take over the Principal role and help guide the school into its next successful chapter. York International Academy is dedicated to the success of its students, and we seek a staff member who could lead the school and support the students at the highest levels. This role would help you maintain the daily school environment, student records such as OSRs, and preparing information like semester schedules, attendance records, teacher support and supervision, and inspection preparation. The below list is a list of some, though not necessarily all, of the duties required of the role:
**Responsibilities**:

- Create an environment of positivity and collaboration
- Create and maintain plans for school management, including inspection packages,
- Keeping track of important deadlines for submission to OUAC/OCAS and ONSIS;
- Managing the creation, storage, and maintenance of student information files, including OSRs and OSTs, student records, and report cards, through the Edsembli SIS;
- Review daily attendance and ensure teachers are collecting data accurately;
- Assist in preparing marketing materials to help showcase the strengths of York International Academy.

Basic Requirements:

- Strong command of English;
- Strong desire to work with and support students;
- A high level of organization and attention to detail is an asset;
- Experience working with Ontario Ministry of Education guidelines, especially Inspection Requirements; OSR Guidelines and Growing Success knowledge an asset;
- Experience in Ontario Education is an asset;
- Experience working with children in both in-person and online environments is an asset;
- Familiarity with Edsembli is an asset.

**Salary**: Contract, terms to be negotiated

- Ontario Administrative Experience: 2 years (preferred)

Work mode:

- This role is in-person, beginning December 6.

**Job Type**: Fixed-term contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $75,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
