Barista/coffee Roaster

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista & Coffee Roaster to join our team. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to create a welcoming atmosphere and deliver delicious drinks will contribute to our customers' overall experience.

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for payments.
- Assist in food preparation, ensuring all items meet quality standards before serving.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service for all customers.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient operations and provide support as needed.

**Experience**
- Previous experience as a barista is required.
- Experience with coffee roasting is required.
- Familiar with coffee brewing methods (espresso, pour-over, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and maintain high standards in a fast paced environment.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is a plus.
- Strong math skills for cash handling and order processing are essential.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
