**About this opportunity**:
We are looking for a FPGA Project Manager to secure Ericsson technology leadership and securing the right scope, quality and cost for product development. The position is based in Lund (Sweden) or Ottawa (Canada), and the main focus is FPGA projects targeting our Indoor Radio portfolio.

As a FPGA Project Manager, you will be a vital part of our global organization. We deliver to the global organization. This new FPGA department leads the end-to-end systemization and architectural design for both Radio and RAN Compute FPGAs in addition to be responsible for the long-term technology strategy for FPGA architectural evolution and IP level systemization.

You will report to the Head of FPGA and join a skilled team of technical leads and project managers.

**What you will do**:
The FPGA project manager has the following responsibilities:

- Plan and execute complete FPGA development projects. This includes coordinating cross-site multi-functional teams, and ensure that the project is finalized to the satisfaction of all stakeholders, within the designated budget and timeline.
- Identify the project's goals, objectives, and scope and creates a project plan that outlines the tasks, timelines, and resources required.
- Communicate with the project team and stakeholders, handle risks and issues, and monitor progress to ensure that the project stays on track.
- Evaluate the project's success and identifies areas for improvement in future projects.
- Build a motivated project team that delivers project results while you are removing impediment for them.
- Work together with Ericsson internal staff (multi-site and international setup) as well as external suppliers to reach project goals.

**You will bring**:

- Technical education at a university level (M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Physics) or similar and well proven outstanding leadership skills
- Analytical, structural, creative and result oriented approach
- Experience in digital ASIC/FPGA technology and development process (minimum 2 years)
- Several years of experience within R&D organizations and/or Product Management Business and customer focused with emphasis on seeing the big picture and making decisions
- Knowledge and experience of R&D processes, including lean & agile practices as well as waterfall principles, and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to ensure project success.
- Outstanding presentation skills
- Excellent written and oral communications skills in English
- Strong successful cross-team and cross-site experience
- Collaboration and teamwork skills
