**Results Matter Group** is a full-service consulting firm focusing on IT along with how to improve the performance of leaders and teams. We have an opening for a _part-time Office Assistant in Sales and Marketing_ located in our Calgary office.

**Job Summary**: Provided sales, marketing, and administrative support for the executive team during the business day. Your ability to adhere to privacy policies, confidentially requirements, and demonstrate discretion are foundational.

Your excellent written communication skills in marketing and communications a source of pride. You understand the sales process, are interested in marketing, and experienced using creating content using WordPress or social media tools.

You are emotionally intelligent, mature, and have a positive attitude. Completing assigned tasks on time is the norm and you are comfortable asking for help or providing updates.

This position is ideal for someone looking for **part-time work.** This is not and will not become a full-time position.

**Work Location**: Our office in NE Calgary near the Shaw building.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Drafting communication with clients, prospects, and vendors.
- Create content for various social media platforms including LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter in support of the sales process to generate targeted traffic to our clients’ websites
- Update our WordPress website content including images
- Ad hoc tasks related to marketing, administration, or sales support to our client sales team
- Limited number of ad hoc tasks or errands of both personal and professional nature

**Qualifications**:

- 1+ years of experience with content writing and supporting multiple client’s websites and/or social media platforms for engagement with our consumer base to drive qualified prospect traffic to our websites
- 2-years of administrative, sales, or marketing assistant experience preferred
- Tech-savvy with a sound understanding of and experience with Microsoft Windows technology including exposure to the technical support of computers, servers, networking, and software
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Certificate or other additional education in office administration, communication, or social media
- Adobe CC, video editing, or photo editing and optimization for websites

- Demonstrates high level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
- Positive attitude, honours commitments, and is emotionally intelligent
- Able to work independently, stay organized, like getting tasks completed, and hand holding not required
- Superior organization abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks with mínimal supervision

**Bonus: If you have experience with any of these that would be awesome**
- Familiar with internet tools like Hootsuite, Social Pilot, Sendible, SocialPilot, or Buffer
- SEM Rush, SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, or Facebook ads
- Microsoft Project or SharePoint
- Elementor or other WordPress administration experience with themes, plug-ins, and forms
- Able to customize/integrate WordPress using CSS, HTML, PHP, JSON
- Blogging, social media, journalism, or public relations

**Distribution of Activities**:

- Communication and Administrative Support for sales and marketing - 60%
- Content creating and management on various platforms - 30%
- Ad hoc requests - 10%

**Hours**: The options for 16 hours per week are:

- 2 full days a week, for 8 hours a day, on Thursday and Friday preferred
- 4 mornings per week, Tuesday to Friday, 9 am or 10:00 am start for 4 hours

**This position is ideal for someone looking for part-time work** and not full-time work
