We are seeking a skilled instructor to teach Hospitality Management principles and skills through a comprehensive approach including lectures, demonstrations, discussion groups, and independent or group projects.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Plan, organize, and prepare classes, including the development of detailed lesson plans
- Create learning materials that align with learning objectives and activities
- Teach Hospitality classes using a variety of teaching strategies and student assessment methods
- Timely grading of assignments and exams, providing students with progress updates
- Regularly submit student data to the Education Coordinator
- Provide daily supervision of students as required or assigned
- Adapt to changing college and student needs over time
- Adhere to the registration office's procedures, including record keeping and scheduling
- Ensure the security of assigned equipment, materials, and classrooms
- Participate in and contribute to the college’s quality improvement processes
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Management Team

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Hospitality Management, Tourism and Travel, or Business Management
- Minimum 10 years of full-time experience in a hospitality management role
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in common workplace software and online teaching techniques

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $30.00-$33.00 per hour

**Flexible Language Requirement**:

- French not required

**Schedule**:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 2 years (preferred)

**Work Location**: Hybrid remote in Nanaimo, BC

**Expected Start Date : Urgent Hire**
