Position Summary:

- Under the direction of the Manager, Student Outreach and Leadership, the incumbent provides logistics support and acts as a liaison between Branches and external participants.
- Duties and Responsibilities:

- Assist in the planning and execution of indigenous undergraduate programs, including but not exclusive to the outreach of participants and coordination of summer activities.
- Responsible for supporting and communicating with students, mentors and hosts that are part of indigenous undergraduate programs.
- Work with various internal and external partners to coordinate program activities and to drive the growth and overall success of each program.
- Responsible for assisting in various operational functions for the various indigenous programs at Branches including the planning of events, adjudication of participants, resource development, and more.
- Responsible for supporting additional ad hoc needs of the each program as required.
- Assist with reports on indigenous undergraduate programs.
- Working in collaboration with the Communications Assistant to produce material to promote all indigenous undergraduate programs.
- Ensures appropriate inclusion of and sensitivity to Indigenous cultures in all programs’ activities.

- Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level #3 on a scale of 0-4.

- High School Diploma 1 Year Related Experience
