Our company is looking for a passionate and dynamic **Quality Inspector** to join our team

**Responsibilities**:

- Performing inspection of precision machined parts and sheet metal fabricated assemblies to company and customer drawings and specifications
- Performing routine quality assessment of Incoming raw material and out going finished products.
- Documenting / reporting inspection findings and completing First Article Inspection reports
- Maintaining product quality documentation in compliance with established processes and procedures.
- Documenting / reporting nonconforming product and generating non-conformance reports (NCR) in accordance with company policy of non-conforming materials.
- Coordinate with management and quality personnel on product quality problems and expedite solutions in a timely manner.
- Educate and train production team on Quality assurance processes/concerns related to product quality.
- Using company ERP software to document quality inspection records and job status.
- Enforce company standards for safety and security regulations, environmental compliance and good shop housekeeping practices.
- Ability to work overtime to meet customer requirements as required.
- Reporting directly to Quality Manager.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education (University or College Degree) in Mechanical / Industrial / Quality engineering or similar disciplines (preferred).
- Minimum three (3) years of experience working as a Quality Inspector in an ISO9001 (or AS9100) certified machining environment.
- Excellent computer literacy and ability to work with computer programs such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Experience in working with ERP systems (Training will be provided for our specific system).
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and specifications fluently.
- Good working knowledge of GD&T.
- Familiar with SPC principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Must be self-motivated, able to work independently and complete tasks with mínimal supervision.

**Additional Skills/Training (not mandatory but an asset)**:

- ASQ certifications
- Completion of a college program in Quality Assurance
- Strong Machining technology background
- Experience in operation and programming of CMM, FARO Arm/Portable Romer Arm
- QMS Internal auditor training and/or certifications
- Training in SolidWorks (intermediate level)
- Training in PolyWorks (premium version)
