Inline Group Inc. has an immediate opportunity available for a Fly In, Fly Out (FIFO) Geologist position. **Key Accountabilities**
- Work with Geology team to identify any geologic concerns from a field perspective along with potential mitigations.
- Ensure ore and aggregate deposits are mined responsible and according to plan. Record any deviations and reasoning for deviation.
- Identify any geological model/plan deviations from a field methodology.
- Identify root cause of deviation and potential mitigations or outcomes.
- Provide site supervisors and client representatives with geologic guidance and daily notes to assist in mining.
- Provide technical advice and geological understanding to project work scopes as required through in-depth daily field inspections.
- Work with Geotechnical Manager to address any QA/QC non conformance and ensure geologic methods are being followed where required.
- Participate in and maintain daily field geotechnical reporting documents and project adherence.
- Assist in the planning and execution of geology field work scopes as required.
- Complete in field test pitting to confirm geologic contacts/depth of stratigraphic units.
- Complete review of ore and waste blocks produced for client reporting needs.
- Ensure proper documentation of waste removal, exposed ore inventory and limestone exposure.
- Track ore and waste stockpile grades and volumes to ensure accurate reconciliation tracking and proper material use.
- Complete geologic reporting to describe deviations both operational and depositional.
- Facilitate and maintain strong positive client relations.
- Actively participate in Inline ISO 9001 Quality Program
- Actively participate in Inline corporate HSE program
- Actively participate in all clients mandated safety programs
- Encourage safe work, safety & quality interventions. Lead by example for both fellow coworkers and all project personnel.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- 5-7+ years in construction Geology environment
- Completed civil engineering diploma or equivalent.
- Valid class 5 drivers’ license with 5-year clean drivers abstract.
- CSTS 2020, CSO, WHMIS 2015 certifications
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Detail oriented with a professional approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel to complete geotechnical reporting needs
- Leadership for Safety Excellence would be considered an asset.
