Guelph, Canada LPC Construction Full time

LPC Construction is a high end renovation and remodeling company who pride ourselves on our attention to detail, and creating a comfortable experience for our clients. We’re looking to hire a full time carpenter / remodeller in the Guelph area to work with our small team.
- Hours are 8:00-4:00 Monday-Friday, with very occasional longer days when the project demands it, but no weekend work.
- Since most of our projects are small to mid-sized renovations, duties could include everything from demolition and formwork, to trim, painting, or even restoration work on old cabinetry. We don’t expect you to have experience in everything, but the ability to learn new skills and think on your feet will be important.
- Pay is negotiable but competitive. It depends on the skills and the tools you can bring to the job, and includes a comprehensive benefits package after the probation period.

**Requirements**:

- A driver’s license and your own vehicle
- Your own tools, at least a basic set but more is better
- 2-3 years of experience in residential construction, ideally with a range of skills covering renovations and remodeling. We’re looking for someone with a good eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to communicate and coordinate their work around the rest of the team.
- Good people skills. Our clients often live on-site throughout the renovation, and it goes a long way to be able to answer their questions, keep them informed about the work you're doing, and just generally put them at ease.
