We are seeking an individual who is committed to success as **Catering Chef**, will actively contribute to the strength of the team and innately seek opportunities to contribute in a meaningful way.Our home base commercial kitchen is located at 90 Industry St, with events taking place across Toronto and the GTA.

Our home base is at 90 Industry Street, with events taking place across Toronto and the GTA. Access to company vehicle is provided. Driver's license is a requirement.

**COMPENSATION**:$18-35/hour (depending on experience)

**RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES**:Your duties and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
**Contribute to food production and event preparation at our kitchen at 90 Industry Street.**

**Comfortable with a variety of types of events & food service**:

- intimate sit down dinner events
- cocktail parties with canape service and grazing boards
- interactive chef stations (charismatic interaction with guests, interactive and live cooking in front of guests)
- buffet-style service
- small and large corporate events (breakfast, lunch)

**QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS**:You will bring to the table
- At least 2 years of private chef or catering experience
- Food Handlers Certificate
- G Driver's License
- An intense passion for food and creating food experiences
- Clean criminal record
- Proven culinary experience - send us a portfolio if you have one
- Food presentation and plating techniques
- Sound knowledge of different cuisines as well as food health and safety regulations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $18.00-$35.00 per hour

Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of surfaces, utensils, equipment, and car interiors. Frequent hand-washing during food preparation, and after handling food packaging. Daily forehead temperature checks upon entering our facility.
