**Responsibilities**
- Assist students with their homework and assignments & provide information and support to them to help them better their learning process and increase their success in school
- Be a resource for students with special needs and can play an important role in helping students achieve their goals
- Inform students about the educational process and help them identify their needs and goals
- Undertake course of study or homework tasks of interest (e.g. preparing notes, studying materials, etc.)
- Write compositions, reports, essays & essays using specific educational techniques or methods
- Attend student’s classes or activities and record student progress on notes book
- Write personalize activity reports for parents, teachers, etc. using specific educational techniques or methods

**Skills**
- Proven experience as a tutor or in other teaching related field preferred but not required.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-20 per week

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Aldergrove, BC V4W 3H7: reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- teaching: 1 year (preferred)
