**Responsibilities**:
Conduct IELTS Classes:

- Plan and deliver effective IELTS preparation classes based on the needs of individual students.
- Provide comprehensive instruction in all four skills: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.

Develop Customized Lesson Plans:

- Create tailored lesson plans to address the strengths and weaknesses of each student.
- Utilize a variety of teaching materials and resources to enhance the learning experience.

Monitor Student Progress:

- Track and assess students' progress through regular quizzes, mock exams, and other evaluative measures.
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their performance.

Stay Updated on IELTS Trends:

- Stay informed about changes in the IELTS exam format and update teaching materials accordingly.
- Attend professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and strategies.

Build Rapport with Students:

- Establish a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement.
- Address individual learning needs and concerns with empathy and professionalism.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $19.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 15 per week

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Tutoring: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Aldergrove, BC V4W 3P6 (preferred)

Work Location: In person
