What you will be responsible for:

- Craft and execute comprehensive communications plans that align with the company's goals and enhance its public image.
- Media Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with key media outlets, respond to media inquiries, and act as the company's spokesperson.
- Public Relations: Manage public relations efforts, including press releases, media briefings, and coverage analyses.
- Content Creation: Oversee the creation of high-quality content for press releases, articles, speeches, podcasts, interviews and other external communications materials.
- Brand Management: Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all external communications channels.
- Crisis Communication: Develop and implement crisis communication plans to manage and mitigate potential public relations issues.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, executives, and industry influencers, to foster positive relationships.
- Measurement and Evaluation: Track and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies and initiatives, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Team Player: You will develop strong relationships across the communications and marketing teams in order to build and execute external communications programs that articulate and support SimCorp's vision, values, business strategy, and value proposition.
- Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in external communications or related fields.-
- Proven track record in communication strategies.-
- Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.-
- Strong media relations skills and established industry contacts.-
- Experience in crisis communications.-
- Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.-
- Strong leadership and project management skills.-
- Proficiency in communication tools and platforms.-
- Degree in marketing, corporate communications, public relations, business, media, or similar.-
- Fluent English speaker.-
- Travel as required.-
- Willingness to attend in person in the Toronto office 2-3x/week as per our hybrid policy.Next steps:
