Moderna Therapeutics is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Director of External Affairs and Policy in Eastern Canada. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the company's external affairs strategies, fostering partnerships with federal and provincial governments, decision-makers, and other key stakeholders.

The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of Canadian healthcare policy, public health, and government affairs. With a strong background in policy analysis, they will be able to interpret political trends, regulatory issues, and their potential impact on the business. A degree in Health Policy, Political Science, Law, or a related field is required, along with 8+ years of experience in government affairs, public policy, or a related field.

Key responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, communicating Moderna's value proposition, promoting a supportive policy environment, and performing legislative and regulatory analysis. The ideal candidate will be proficient in policy analysis, negotiation, and diplomacy, with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage complex relationships across multiple stakeholder groups.

In exchange for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
