**Position Overview**:
Cedar Coast has a permanent, full-time opportunity for a Treasury Analyst who is passionate about numbers and wants to join a fast-paced, growing entrepreneurial company. This role will report to the Finance Manager and will focus on overseeing daily, weekly, and monthly cash management and treasury operations for corporate and project entities.

**Responsibilities**
- Monitor daily cash positions, including cash balances, funding requirements, and disbursement activities.
- Assist with bank administration, including completion of forms and collecting signatures.
- Calculate and assist with the monthly distributions and interest payments to various stakeholders.
- Execute cash management strategies to optimize cash flow and minimize idle balances.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts to anticipate short-term funding needs.
- Assist in preparing cash flow forecasts to anticipate long-term funding needs.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure accurate cash flow projections.
- Reconcile all banking transactions and inter-company accounts with related parties and subsidiaries.
- Execute electronic fund transfers, wire transfers, and other payment transactions.
- Assist in the administration of debt and credit facilities, including interest payments and compliance reporting.
- Monitor and maintain documentation related to treasury operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely settlement of transactions.
- Assist in the identification and assessment of financial risks.
- Participate in the development of risk mitigation strategies and policies.
- Analyze financial data to support decision-making related to cash management and investment opportunities.
- Participate in the monitoring of interest rates and foreign exchange exposure, as well as making recommendations of appropriate hedging strategies.
- Assist with the preparation of treasury-related reports, analyses, and presentations for senior management.
- Identify and implement process improvements for existing day-to-day accounting, month-end closing process and reconciliations.
- Supports special projects/initiatives and ad-hoc reporting/analysis as required by the finance department, and the business.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in treasury operations, finance, audit and assurance, accounting, or related roles.
- CPA designation or active pursuit of CPA designation is preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, including technical accounting for real-estate (REALPAC ASPE) and debt instruments is an asset.
- Meticulous attention to detail and inquisitive by nature.
- Exceptional ability with numbers and strong proof-reading skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with superior administrative capacity to manage many projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Personable, effective, and collaborative as a team player with a sustained positive attitude.
- Courteous and comfortable dealing with both internal and external parties.
- A high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is required.
- Prior experience with Sage Intacct and banking portals such as RBC Express and Wells Fargo CEO is preferred but not required.
