The Saint John Police provides policing services to those who live, work and visit the city, by engaging with the community, upholding the law and preserving public safety. The Saint John Police is seeking interest from Part-Time Police Constables to augment our staffing. These Constables would be scheduled on an “as needed” basis depending upon operational requirements. Part-time constables would be scheduled to a maximum of twenty (20) hours per week and utilized to work special events, cover summer vacation, etc.

**Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements**:

- Must have been a serving police officer within the last three (3) years in Canada.
- Must have been in good standing with your police service.
- Must meet the minimum policing requirements for the province of New Brunswick.
- Must be able to provide CPR & First Aid qualifications.
- Must provide current fitness testing qualifications.
- Must provide medical that you are fit to perform frontline duties.

Le service de police de Saint John est à la recherche d’agents de police à temps partiel pour augmenter son effectif. Ces agents seront affectés en fonction des besoins, selon les exigences opérationnelles. Les agents de police à temps partiel seraient effectueront un maximum de vingt (20) heures par semaine et seront mobilisés pour les événements spéciaux, les vacances d’été, etc.
- Doit avoir été un(e) agent(e) de police en service au cours des trois (3) dernières années au Canada.
- Doit être en bon terme avec son service de police.
- Doit satisfaire aux exigences mínimales en matière de services de police pour la province du Nouveau-Brunswick.
- Doit détenir des certifications de RCR et de premiers soins à jour.
- Doit fournir des qualifications actuelles en matière de tests de conditionnement physique.
- Doit fournir un certificat médical attestant qu’il ou elle est apte à exercer des fonctions de première ligne.
