Ryu is a high-end sushi restaurant offering an upscale menu of traditional Japanese dishes each elevated with a modern touch. We’re looking to hire _**Experienced Sushi Cooks (must know how to make maki) **_to join our restaurant group.

**SALARY**: 26-30$ /H
**SCHEDULE**: Part-time (Friday and Saturday nights)
**LOCATIONS**: This is for our Griffintown location

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Perform delegated tasks from our Executive Chef and/or General Manager
- Preparing various types of sushi dishes according to established guidelines on quality, portion size, high-end presentation, and food safety.
- Assist in daily food preparations and inventory management (ie. ability to inspect, receive, and store all raw bar related items)
- Preparing all types of sushi & maki
- Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
- Maintain a clean work environment, as well as adhere to the restaurant's high sanitation standards, food safety regulations, and hygiene measures

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Min 2 years of sushi experience
- Willingness and ability to execute high-end sushi
- Ability to multi-task and maintain a level of professionalism under pressure
- Must live in Montreal and/or have a valid Canadian working visa

**SALAIRE** : 26-30 $/H
**HORAIRE** : Temps partiel (vendredi et samedi soirs)
**LOCALISATION** : Ce poste est pour notre établissement situé à Griffintown.

**RESPONSABILITÉS**
- Exécuter les tâches déléguées par notre Chef Exécutif et/ou notre Directeur Général.
- Préparer divers types de plats de sushi selon les directives établies en matière de qualité, de portions, de présentation haut de gamme et de sécurité alimentaire.
- Participer aux préparations alimentaires quotidiennes et à la gestion des stocks (par exemple, inspection, réception et stockage de tous les produits liés au bar cru).
- Préparer tous types de sushis et makis.
- Assurer que tous les clients se sentent bien accueillis et reçoivent un service attentif, amical et courtois à tout moment.
- Maintenir un environnement de travail propre et respecter les normes élevées de salubrité, de sécurité alimentaire et d’hygiène du restaurant.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum 2 ans d'expérience en sushi.
- Volonté et capacité à exécuter des sushis haut de gamme.
- Capacité à effectuer plusieurs tâches simultanément et à maintenir un niveau de professionnalisme sous pression.
- Doit résider à Montréal et/ou avoir un visa de travail valide au Canada.
