Stratford, Canada GRIT Engineering Inc. Full time

**GRIT Engineering Inc. **provides professional consulting services in site plan development, land development, municipal review, and geotechnical engineering. This firm is in its formative years and we are looking for a technician or technologist who is driven to succeed and looking for advancement opportunities as the firm grows.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare preliminary and detailed geotechnical engineering reports with excess soil management recommendations as per O.Reg 406/19.
- Schedule and perform fieldwork and sampling. This includes and not limited to borehole drilling, test pit monitoring, subgrade inspections and well installations.
- Geo-Slope computer modelling.
- Materials testing of concrete, soil and asphalt.
- Aggregate and concrete laboratory testing in accordance with CCIL
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Civil/Geotechnical/Environmental Engineering Technology graduate. Eligible for or obtained OACETT or P.Eng designation an asset.
- Experience and aptitude to work with the following software packages: Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Excel.
- Possess strong organizational, oral, written communication, and problem-solving skills; have an approachable enthusiastic interpersonal style.
- Willingness to travel within Ontario.
- Possess a valid driver's license.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
