- The Fluid Technician is responsible for cleaning CNC equipment / washers and ensuring fluids used in various operations are changed and maintained in order to support production requirements. Work must be done in a safe and efficient manner and comply with all Stackpole International’s Health & Safety policies, procedures and quality systems.
- Your responsibilities will be to:
- Complete fluid concentration monitoring and logging throughout work shift-
- Complete fluid top-up and concentration adjustments-
- Responsible to clean CNC equipment (Remove any oil, coolant, sludge, or chips resulting from manufacturing operations) and refill to return to production.-
- Maintain and clean drip and coolant trays for assigned area of responsibility.-
- Responsible to clean deburring equipment (Remove fluid, media, sludge, chisel build up from tub resulting from manufacturing operations) and refill to return to production.-
- Responsible to clean part washers (Remove fluid, sludge, wash and rinse tanks) and refill to return to production.-
- Responsible for dispensing used fluids and coolant.-
- Follow all requirements of the Quality Management System and Environmental Health & Safety Systems.-
- Ensure that the requirements of the Quality Management System and Environmental Health & Safety Systems are met.-
- Other duties as required.- Our requirements:

- Education and/or Experience:_- High School diploma or equivalent- Qualifications:_- Experience working in a manufacturing environment, specifically automotive, is an asset-
- Good interpersonal skills. Able to work well independently or in a team environment-
- Good communication skills. Clearly legible handwriting and able to write reports-
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills-
- Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment while maintaining quality- Language Skills:_- Proficient in English (both spoken and written)- Work Environment (including Physical Demands):_- Work indoors. Environment can be noisy and exposed to different temperatures-
- Working with fluids and oils on a daily basis-
- Lifting required. No more than 50lbs and assistance is available.-
- Work shifts may include Days, Afternoons, Nights or Continental-
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time-
