Server/supervisor

**The Pulpit Club **is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals for our Hospitality department. Our two golf courses, The Pulpit and The Paintbrush, are consistently ranked among the very best courses in North America.

**Hospitality and Culinary Arts**:

- Bartenders - Must be Smart Serve certified, experience preferred
- Beverage Cart Servers - Must be Smart Serve certified
- Half-Way Servers - Must be Smart Serve certified
- Servers - Must be Smart Serve certified

**Food and Beverage Service**
- Maintain a clean, healthy and safe work place that meets or exceeds the standards of the The Pulpit Club.
- Ensure a safe, efficient work place using common sense and/or knowledge from previous experience and training.
- Follow all opening and closing duties for your designated Clubhouse as outlined in the employee manual for Food and Beverage.
- Serve all alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as ordered.
- Take orders from Members and Guests, key them into the Jonas system and serve prepared meals that meet or exceed the standards of service for The Pulpit Club.
- Knowledge and execution of proper wine service.
- Knowledge of wine, considered an asset.
- Knowledge of proper service etiquette for all food and beverages served within the Clubhouses.
- Ensure designated area is “service ready” and properly maintained throughout the shift.
- Complete all other daily tasks assigned by the Hospitality Manager and/or Associate Hospitality Manager.

**Other Duties**
- Assist with month end inventory if requested.
- Assist with replenishing stock in coolers and service areas.
- Ensure that all duties are carried out in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and all Company policies and procedures.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers and take orders in a timely manner.
- Serve food and drinks to customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Answer customer questions about menu items and specials.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing friendly and attentive service.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-32 per week

**Salary**: $15.50-$20.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Serving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Smart Serve, SIR or equivalent (preferred)
