Merchandise Payment Representative

What you’ll do:
- Provide proactive service to ensure vendors experience timely and accurate processing of invoices for payment using the 3-way matching process.-
- Communicate with a variety of internal and external contacts including but not limited to individuals in Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Finance in a timely manner.- Investigate the cause of a problem, prioritize, and follow up with other business units to resolve issues.- Have a thorough understanding of proof of delivery documentation, request documentation from vendors to resolve exceptions, review documentation for accuracy and completeness, and complete accurate adjustments based on the documentation.- Perform project related tasks as assigned by the Supervisor, Merchandise Accounts Payable Support, or others.- Complete timely reviews and uploads of various credit and debit entries.- Complete vendor account reconciliations.- Other ad-hoc duties as required.

- 3+ years in an accounting/finance or related field.- 2+ years in Account Payable.- 2+ years experience with PeopleSoft Financial or an equivalent Financial System (SAP, JDE, Oracle etc.).- Strong understanding of the 3-way match process and how POs, invoices, and receipts interface from various systems.- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.- Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and implement solutions.- Ability to work remotely, while also effectively performing duties with mínimal supervision.- Intermediate-to-advanced working knowledge in MS Suite (Excel, Word, Teams & Outlook), Adobe PDF, and Mail Merge processes.
