**Job Title**: Purchaser

**Location**: 44160 Yale Road West, Chilliwack, BC

**Job purpose**:This position’s primary responsibilities are to purchase stock and maintain inventory levels.

**Rate of Pay**:$30-$35/hr plus benefits (depending on training or experience)

**Key Result Areas**
- Build meaningful, useful relationships with suppliers
- Inventory levels are maintained well, and within budgets
- Proactive and pragmatic purchasing based on seasonal needs

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Working within budgets, maintain inventory levels by purchasing and transferring in
- Determine or negotiate contract terms and conditions, award supplier contracts or recommend contract awards
- Establish delivery schedules, monitor progress and contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems
- Manage assembly orders and transfer orders
