**Novice Outside Sales Representative**

This position is for you
Our **Outside Sales Representatives** are responsible for marketing J/E’s competitive advantage, actively servicing, maintaining and expanding current business as defined by management. Core sales objectives are to expand business volume, ensure that opportunities are identified and that the Company’s capabilities are actively promoted. Responsibilities also include driving retention and treating existing as well as new customers in a manner that will build sustaining, long-term relationships.
**We are seeking a person with the following skill set and competencies**:
- 2 - 3 years’ experience in sales required. Experience with outside sales a significant asset.
- Experience in a manufacturing-related environment beneficial.
- Post-secondary education in business is an asset.
- Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others.
- Must have strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships, influence others, and effectively negotiate outcomes.
- Ability to develop and maintain a network of public and private sector contacts.
- Experience with ERP systems an asset.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical, planning, organizational and problem-solving skills, time and priority management are necessary for success.
- Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs is a requirement.
- Must be able to exercise good judgment and model strong ethical and professional integrity.
- Combinations of relevant experience and courses will also be considered.
**Your skills and competencies will help you**:
- Generate sales by providing information regarding company capabilities.
- Investigate and assess new or existing opportunities as well as new or existing products that can be produced and sold by J/E.
- Create and maintain successful customer and supplier relationships; monitor status and performance as well as anticipate and fulfill customer needs to ensure their satisfaction and continued business.
- Conduct daily face to face interactions with customers and suppliers to identify, quote, and close solution sales.
- Be an asset; offer product solutions to customers and suppliers, promote value added services.
- Provide technical support where required.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure customer order flow & fulfillment.
- Assist with business planning and sales forecasting as requested.

Pay: $56,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
